The Tuition Team comprises a group of experienced and qualified tutors specialising in Maths, English and Science from ages 4-16.
Our Maths, English and Science tutors are all DBS checked and between us we have over 100 years experience in teaching and tuition.

What do The Tuition Team teach?
Our team can provide support for:
Primary: Key Stage 1 and 2 (Including SATs preparation)
Secondary: Key Stage 3 and 4 (Including GCSE preparation)
Adult learners (Including Functional Skills preparation)
Entrance exams
We follow the up-to-date curriculum for all exam boards.

Who do The Tuition Team provide tuition for?
We provide tuition to children of all ages as well as adult learners. Our tuition centre is based at Rainhill Village Business Centre on Saturdays and weekday evenings. Local home visits are possible subject to availability and we can also offer online tuition too. We've tutored students from all over St Helens and Liverpool, including Eccleston, Rainford, Sutton, Haresfinch, Thatto Heath, Whiston, Prescot and Widnes.

How long do tuition sessions last?
Our sessions usually last for 60 minutes. You will receive individual feedback on your child’s progress at the end of a session. We can also provide as much or as little homework as you require. We would usually arrange a meeting before starting tuition so that we can discuss your needs.

Is the tuition one-to-one?
Our sessions are one-to-one, so your child will receive the tutors undivided attention throughout. It is possible for us to arrange small group lessons if requested as long as students are of the same ability/syllabus etc.

How much does tuition cost?
One-to-one lessons cost £29 per hour.

Am I contracted to a minimum number of lessons?
We are very flexible with tuition. You can book as many or as few sessions as meets your needs. Most students have one lesson per week, but you can have lessons more or less frequently than this.
